Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before receiving services. This page explains what that means and what you can expect from Branch Lane Psychotherapy.
Last updated: June 2026
What Is a Good Faith Estimate?
A Good Faith Estimate outlines the cost of therapy services you can reasonably expect when self-paying or when you have chosen not to use your insurance benefits. It is required under the No Surprises Act, a federal law that protects clients from unexpected medical bills.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing before your first appointment, or at any time during your care upon request.
Who Receives a Good Faith Estimate
You are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate if you:
- Do not have health insurance
- Have health insurance but choose not to use it for your therapy services
- Are paying out of pocket for any reason
Expected Costs at Branch Lane
The following represents the expected cost of individual psychotherapy services at Branch Lane Psychotherapy. Fees may vary by clinician based on training, experience, and specialization. Your specific fee will be confirmed before your first session.
Service: Individual psychotherapy session (45-55 minutes)
Expected cost per session: $350
Clinician: Erica Oppenheimer, LCSW (or the clinician assigned to your care)
Provider address: 90 Fort Wade Road, Suite 100, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32081
NPI: Available upon request
The total cost of your care will depend on the number of sessions and length of treatment. Therapy is individualized, and the number of sessions needed varies significantly by person. A typical course of therapy might range from a few months to several years. Your clinician will discuss this with you and revisit it regularly as your work progresses.
This Estimate Is Not a Contract
A Good Faith Estimate is not a guarantee that the final cost will be exactly as listed. It is an informed projection based on your anticipated care. Costs may change if:
- You require additional or different services than initially anticipated
- Your treatment plan changes
- You transition to a different clinician
If you would like a revised estimate at any point, please contact us and we will provide one promptly.
Your Rights If the Bill Exceeds the Estimate
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to dispute the charge. To learn more about the dispute process, visit cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
Note: This right does not apply to charges that differ from the estimate due to changes you requested or circumstances outside of our control.
